FDAWU Annual Stakeholders Dialogue 2026: Building Resilience in an Uncertain World

Close to 70 management partners from food services, hospitality, wholesale trade & retail and food manufacturing sectors gathered at the inaugural FDAWU Annual Stakeholders Dialogue 2026 to discuss a common challenge: How businesses can remain competitive amid growing economic uncertainty.

Centred on the theme: Navigating the Uncertainties, Repositioning for Opportunities, the dialogue brought together industry leaders, government representatives and business practitioners to exchange insights on business resilience, workforce transformation and innovation.

A key message emerged throughout the afternoon: while disruptions may be unpredictable, organisations can strengthen their competitive advantage by investing in people, embracing purposeful innovation and building strong partnerships. Speakers highlighted the importance of leveraging technology and AI strategically, developing adaptable supply chains, and equipping workers with new skills to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

The event also reinforced the value of collaboration across businesses, Union and government agencies in supporting long-term growth and workforce resilience through industry sharing, panel discussion and interactive workshops.

As FDAWU concludes its inaugural dialogue, one message stands clear:
The organisations best positioned for the future will not be those that avoid disruption, but those that are prepared to adapt, innovate and grow together.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
